Since 1998, the ISSP has been supporting young jewellery artists by organizing a competition for up-and-coming designers and awarding the “Art Jewellery by Young Talents at the Museum” sponsorship purchase by the ISSP. The goal is to support young talents whose creations go beyond established forms and expectations and captivate the beholder by revealing their designer’s quintessentially idiosyncratic “vision”.
These pieces are unusual, serious, offbeat or even wild, and they are well worth discovering. By purchasing one or two of each award-winning jewellery artist’s pieces for the Museum’s Modern Collection, the ISSP not only provides the young artists with a springboard into their careers but also supports the Museum.
