Purposes for which personal data is processed
The personal data will be processed to carry out the membership agreement (e.g., invitation to meetings, contribution membership fee).
In addition, personal data for participation in events at the Jewellery Museum will be forwarded to it.
Furthermore, personal data relating to events, including the reporting thereof, will be published on the website of the association, in performances of the association in social media and on the website of the Jewellery Museum and transmitted to local, regional and national print media.
For the purpose of self-promotion of the Förderverein Schmuckmuseum Pforzheim advertising will be sent to the e-mail address of the members.
Legal basis on which the processing takes place
The processing of personal data is usually based on the need to fulfill a contract in accordance with Article 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR. The contractual relationships are primarily the membership in the association.
If personal data is collected without the processing required to fulfil the contract, the processing is carried out on the basis of consent pursuant to Article 6 para. 1 lit. a), combined with Article 7 GDPR.
The legal basis for self-promotion is Art. 6 para. Lit. f) GDPR.
The publication of personal data on the Internet or in local, regional or national print media takes place in order to safeguard legitimate interests of the association (see Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR). The legitimate interest of the association is to inform the public by reporting on the activities of the association. In this context, personal data, including images of the participants, is published, for example, in the context of reporting on association events.
Recipients or categories of recipients of the personal data
The data of the members’ bank details is forwarded to Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw for the purpose of collecting fees.
Duration for which the personal data is stored or, if this is not possible, the criteria for determining the duration
Personal data is stored for the duration of the membership.
Upon termination of the membership, the data categories will be retained according to the legal retention periods and then deleted. In the period between the termination of the membership and the deletion, the processing of this data is restricted.
Certain categories of data are stored in the club archive for the purpose of the association’s chronicle. The categories are as follows: first name, last name, participation in an event, or events in which the person concerned participated. Storage is based on the legitimate interest of the association the historical documentation of events and occurrences at said events to record.
All data within the remaining categories (e.g., bank details, address, contact details) will be deleted upon termination of membership.

Recipients outside of the EU
With the exception of the processing described under the headings of Internet technologies and Social media plug-ins, we do not supply your data to recipients registered outside of the European Union or the European Economic Area. All data personally supplied by you, including your payment details, are transmitted by means of the generally used, safe SSL (Secure Socket Layer) standard.
